We partnered with Russell Stover to revitalize a beloved but fading classic. Through a refreshed identity, modernized packaging and in-store presence, and an integrated creative platform, we repositioned the brand as a joyful, everyday gifting companion.
Russell Stover's legacy was undeniable, but its perception had become old-fashioned. The challenge was to evolve the brand into something modern and culturally relevant while staying true to its history.
People often choose the Russell Stover for someone else, from small gestures to special occasions. This understanding guided a shift toward positioning the brand as a modern gifting company.
We built the idea around the simple joy of giving, shifting the brand's focus from indulgence to thoughtful gestures. The refreshed identity uses copper accents inspired by the brand's heritage of fine chocolate making in copper kettles, paired with a signature ribbon bow that symbolizes giving across every touchpoint.
